“The beloved of the Lord dwells in safety. The High God surrounds him all day long, and dwells between his shoulders.” Deuteronomy 33:12
There is no better place, no secure place to dwell than between My divine Majesty shoulders'.
Oh Father, in the storms you cover me from the tempest. You hide me, Abba, you hide me in the shadow of Your hand. How glorious is that. In all Your holiness, you let me dwell inside of your arms, where we have communion together. Your righteousness covers me.
I am your beloved, and you are mine. You decide to place me in this special place, with this special name: beloved. Because I am yours and no one can snatch me out of your hand.
My King, I dwell in safety with you, You let me rest in you and touch you.
Your intense love is blazing my heart with warmth. It is burning in my soul with an irresistible desire to yield to you more and more. This liquid love is watering my spirit. Oh, this LOVE! Nothing can quench it and no flood can drown it. Let me rest in your heart and nothing will extinguish this flame.
This very deep communion, is all I want, it is all I need. You cover me with Your wings, you hide me. You take me beyond the veil and let me stand before your throne, you are Holy, Lord. I stand in this secret place, where there is only you and me. This secret place where no one would ever understand the depth of this love and fellowship unless they stand in awe before your majesty. You are all glorious, all beautiful, all shining, my redeemer.
Standing before you, I see how your robe fills the whole place, with glory and splendor, oh how my eyes cannot contain your beauty. King of Kings, spread the corner of your garment over me. You cover me with your feathers. Oh God, your presence gives me comfort. I lean on you and dwell in safety; all day long, between your shoulders.
